Pro-D Day Camps

No pro-d day camps are scheduled at the moment.

Things to remember for a fun & healthy participation in camp:

  • Participants must be comfortably dressed in a proper fitting t-shirt and lowers. Dress for the weather since participants may go outside to explore.

  • Participants must bring a clean pair of socks, and long hair must be neatly tied back/in a ponytail. Please keep extra hair ties in your child’s bag. For younger kids- please provide an additional set of clothes in their backpack.

  • Half-day camp attendees should bring a full bottle of water and a healthy snack.

  • Full-day camp attendees should have a packed lunch in addition to snacks and a water bottle (there is a microwave oven in the facility to heat food). Parents must advise staff/coaches on any extra precautions that RGA should be aware of for their child eg: allergies. RGA cannot guarantee a nut free zone, but request that participants be respectful of those with allergies.

  • Participants are encouraged to bring in a favorite book/craft activity/a toy. Screen time is not encouraged during camp. Do not bring any items of value or personal importance to the facility.

  • Last but not the least - bring in great attitude and lots of energy!

  • Please see our Code of Conduct for more information about attire and expectations of participants and parents/ guardians.

    Note:

  • Richmond Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel a camp at any time for any reason. In such cases, all fees for a cancelled program will be refunded.

  • RGA staff is not responsible for participants before or after camp times. Repeated early drop off or late pick up will result in cancelled participation without refund.

  • Members must register for the entire week.

  • Members are registering their child for a camp and not a class. A ‘gymnastics’ camp focusses on some basic fundamentals of artisitic gymnastics on every event. Skills and progressions are introduced based on age and experience. Coaches do not work on or help with advanced skills nor do they provide report cards on skill achievements.

  • The age range of camp participants is wide, and the coaches attempt to group the participants as per the age and skill level so that each participant benefits while having fun during participation.

  • Richmond Gymnastics does not provide food or snacks to any participant.

  • Camp participants are supervised by coaches and/or staff at all times.
