Management

RGA is a registered not-for-profit society incorporated under the BC Societies Act. The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The management and operations of the Association are led by the Executive Director. And together, the team ensures that the Association’s overall direction and policies are being adhered to.

Members on the Board bring in varied skills, expertise, and knowledge that help to further the mission of the Association. The Board’s role is to adopt sound ethical, legal, and financial management policies that contribute to the ongoing and long-term development of the Association, which in turn, benefits the Association’s members.

The Board is led by an Executive Committee which consists of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, and members at large. The Board is elected at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in the Fall of each calendar year.

The Executive Director works closely with the Board to achieve the agreed goals and to ensure that the Board’s directions and policies are implemented at a management and operational level.
