Let’s step forward, together!

As a non-profit sports association, which constantly strives to adhere to its mission, vision and values while aiming to provide the best experience in the sport of gymnastics to its members, we look forward to the support of our community for some of the projects we undertake. From time to time, we introduce some fundraising activities that help us raise funds for designated projects. We call it the ‘give some, take some’ initiative.

Fundraising activities are an important source of income for a non-profit and essential to cover some additional costs incurred during the running of a program. The ongoing project is the “Gym enhancement fund” where funds collected are used to purchase equipment for the gym. RGA offers a number of classes that cater to different programs and needs, and this requires a range of equipment to serve the needs of every age and skill level. Periodically the equipment needs replacement or a different equipment needs to be purchased. High quality and professional equipment helps athletes learn faster and learn with greater confidence and precision. We look forward to your support in helping us reach our ‘perfect 10’!

Members of only the TEAM program have an yearly fundraising commitment amount i.e. the funds raised (not spent) through different initiatives. RGA works to organize some fundraising activities throughout the year to help members achieve their commitment! RGA welcomes suggestions by members for new fundraising initiatives. Please see below for more details. The fundraising commitment does not apply to the recreational/Gymnastics for All program participants/members. However, all members, and family and friends of members of the club can contribute to the fundraiser.

How does this work (for Team program members)

  • All Team members pay the minimum fundraising commitment ($60 for Season 2024-25) at the time of registration. This minimum fundraising commitment represents the amount a member may potentially raise through activities (i.e. the profits earned and not the funds spent by a member). The raised funds may be eligible for a refund.

  • RGA informs members of the scheduled fundraising activity and members choose to participate in the activity. Every fundraising activity contributes a different percentage of profit, and the profit (funds raised) depends on the total sales of the fundraiser. RGA communicates the percentage/amount that each member can potentially earn/gain through a fundraising activity in an effort to be transparent with members and ensure they can reach their minimum fundraising commitment.

  • Any funds raised (profits earned) through initiatives are applied towards the minimum deposit only. For example, if a member raises a profit of $20 through one activity, $20 will be refunded to that member. But if a member raises a profit of $120 through an activity, only the minimum commitment paid at the time of registration will be refunded.

  • Note: RGA will make all attempts to organize fundraising activities and appropriately communicate them to our members.
